JEROME A. BROWN

Jerome A. Brown has practiced law in the Victoria area since 1983. He represents business clients in the areas of employment law, bankruptcy, collections, construction law, civil litigation, business organizations and contractual matters.

Mr. Brown is board certified in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas Labor and Employment and Bankruptcy Law Sections and the College of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Brown is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern, Northern and Western District of Texas, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Brown is active in community affairs as a member, Past-President and Director of the Victoria Rotary Club, and a member of the Victoria Chamber of Commerce and Associated Builders and Contractors. Also, he is a frequent speaker on employment, bankruptcy, construction law and litigation matters. He has authored a number of articles on these subjects for the Victoria Busniess Magazine.

Mr. Brown is a native of Hallettsville, where he graduated from Hallettsville High School. He received his undergraduated degree from Sam Houston State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and his law degree from the University of Houston.
